Dr. John Warner

Dr. John Warner

As a young man of 21 years of age, I came to accept the fact that my daily headaches of 15 years were “normal … all in my head … a growth phase…” and all those other fables and stories the doctors told my parents and I. As well, I must have been led by the “real doctors” to believe that my daily, lifetime headaches were caused by a shortage of Extra Strength Bufferin at two large bottles a week in my bloodstream. That seems to have been the only antidote to “numbing” the pain.

An athletic injury disabled me from standing upright with sharp pain in my lower back and pain in my leg. A friend of mine suggested I try chiropractic. After a series of adjustments, my low back and leg pain were gone and I was standing upright again. Not only did I receive relief from my low back pain, my headaches started going away. Soon they were gone also. No aspirin since February 1976!

In Colorado Springs, I practice the Science, Art, and Philosophy of Chiropractic in a manner that addresses the needs of the patient(s) first, tell them what they need second, and joyfully accept what the patient wants in regards to their desired health outcome.

I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1982. I have managed several successful practices Michigan and Colorado. The biggest joy I derive from practicing my chosen profession is seeing amazing results unfold as the patient begins their care under my guidance, then actually witnessing individuals discard their over-the-counter drugs and narcotics, while achieving a higher state of health, pain relief, the restoration of function and ultimately wellness.

When I’m not in our Colorado Springs office, I love to spend time with my beautiful wife, Gail, and our two children, Nikki and Skylar.  You may also find me fishing, at the shooting range, working with the Boy Scouts, or helping lead the youth at First Presbyterian Church.

Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.

Dr. John Asks some important questions of interest to Colorado Springs residents - Chiropractor Colorado Springs Dr. John Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
